  • Our History

In 1993 Augusto Brun opened his first gallery in Milan, driven by his strong passion for art that has always been the basis of his successes.

Later, after accumulating more than 20 years of experience in the field, he decided together with his brother Marco to open two new galleries in Florence and in Milan, on Via Gesù.

Over time the gallery has grown, developing integrity and expertise, leading its clients and all enthusiasts through the fascinating world of art and guiding them through the different eras, artists and historical events that have made art history great.

This is why today we specialize in antique furniture, bronzes, paintings, objects and also in oriental art and modern art works of absolute beauty and quality that with great pleasure we love to share with anyone who has the same passion, the love for art.

Thanks to the brilliant intuition of Pilar Pandini we decided to open our space in Florence, a showroom of over 400 square meters located in one of the most exclusive streets in the center of Florence.

The office is in fact on the second floor of a magnificent 16th-century palazzo on Via de' Tornabuoni and receives by appointment clients, museum curators and interior designers, introducing them to our wonderful world of antique furniture and sculptures, works of art and Asian art objects.

Recently the second Milan branch is opened, located in the heart of the city, on one of the most famous streets of the fashion quadrilateral.

Our gallery is mainly concerned with organizing curated exhibitions, intended to be appreciated especially by private Italian and international collectors.

The gallery is a member of the Associazione Antiquari d' Italia, the Italian Federation of Art Dealers and the French syndicat national des antiquaires.

The gallery exhibits its works at the most prestigious international art fairs, including the biennial fairs in Florence, Rome and Paris, Masterpiece London, Brafa Brussels, the Armory Show in New York and the Miami Antiques Show.

Brun Fine Art's team, which also relies on the collaboration of Francesca Ghiringhelli, offers various services in particular brokerage for hereditary divisions, estimates and appraisals, consulting for the acquisition of works of art and for the formation and growth of collections, cataloging of works, staging, restoration and transportation.

We also offer a rental service aimed primarily at the fashion, film and entertainment industries.
